How to Pray the Rosary

Basic formula for praying the Rosary.

1. Crucifix – Make the Sign of the Cross and say the “Apostles’ Creed”.
2. First Single Bead – Say the “Our Father” prayer.
3. Set of Three Bead – On each bead, say the “Hail Mary” prayer.
4. Next Single Bead – Say the following prayers:
   • Glory Be.
   • Announce the first Mystery of the Rosary meditation being prayed.
   • Our Father.
5. First Set of Ten Beads – On each bead, say the “Hail Mary” prayer.
6. Next Single Bead – Say the following prayers:
   • Glory Be.
   • Fatima Prayer.
   • Announce the second Mystery of the Rosary meditation being prayed.
   • Our Father.
7. Second Set of Ten Beads – On each bead, say the “Hail Mary” prayer.
8. Next Single Bead – Say the following prayers:
   • Glory Be.
   • Fatima Prayer.
   • Announce the third Mystery of the Rosary meditation being prayed.
   • Our Father.
9. Third Set of Ten Beads – On each bead, say the “Hail Mary” prayer.
10. Next Single Bead – Say the following prayers:
    • Glory Be.
    • Fatima Prayer.
    • Announce the fourth Mystery of the Rosary meditation being prayed.
    • Our Father.
11. Fourth Set of Ten Beads – On each bead, say the “Hail Mary” prayer.
12. Next Single Bead – Say the following prayers:
    • Glory Be.
    • Fatima Prayer.
    • Announce the fifth Mystery of the Rosary meditation being prayed.
    • Our Father.
13. Fifth Set of Ten Beads – On each bead, say the “Hail Mary” prayer.
14. Next Single Bead – Say the following prayers:
    • Glory Be.
    • Fatima Prayer.
    • Hail, Holy Queen.
    • Let Us Pray.
